In this workshop, we will dive into the world of stranded colourwork knitting. We'll kick things off with a quick overview of its key features and float management techniques, then take a closer look at the ladderback jacquard method. To bring the theory to life, we'll work on a small swatch together.

By the end of the session, you'll have a solid understanding of the ladderback jacquard method and how to use it in your future stranded projects. With this new skill, you'll be ready to take on a wider range of colourwork motifs.

Level of Experience: Intermediate.

Prerequisites and Materials

You should have basic knitting skills, including knitting and purling and knit increases.. While experience with colourwork is ideal, it's not necessary.
