Solid Colour Yarn Collection

Variegated skeins get the attention, but solid colours do most of the quiet work in knitting. A single even shade lets cables, lace and textured stitches read clearly instead of disappearing into colour noise, and a plain wool is the natural partner for a loud hand dyed skein in two colour shawls. The solids here come from Danish and Finnish brands among others, in merino, cotton blends and a chunky cotton, dyed in deep, uniform batches so a garment knitted from several balls stays consistent from hem to collar.
