Cocoknits is the brainchild of Californian knitwear designer Julie Weisenberger, whose Sweater Workshop book teaches her method for seamless jumpers with properly fitted, set in sleeves, worked from the top down. The tools grew out of that method and behave as a system: stitch markers come colour-coded so each one can mean something specific in a pattern, and many pieces contain steel so they snap onto the magnetic notions dish instead of rolling off the sofa. A matching journal records each sweater's numbers, while the block kit handles finishing once the knitting is done.
