We are incredibly lucky to have Alexandra Brinck join us at Knit With Me to give one of her highly sought after Invisible Knit Repair workshops. Whether you’re looking to mend your own knits or take the first steps towards working as a repairer, this workshop will teach you the main techniques for invisible knit repair.

Skills Needed: This workshop is most suitable for those with some knitting skills or a good understanding of knitted fabrics.

 Alexandra will walk you through 

• the structure of knitted fabrics
• fixing ladders and pulled threads
• different methods of duplicate stitch for small and large holes
• how to source the perfect yarn for repair
• some pro tips & tricks

You will also receive a kit containing all the tools you need, as well as multiple swatches to practice on - no need to bring anything with you! Except of course your enthusiasm to learn from one of the best in her field. 

We will stop for lunch so bring something to eat or pop out and grab something from one of the cafes in Richmond.

 Important information - The workshop takes place upstairs in the store which is accessed via a spiral staircase. Toilets are in the basement which are again, you guessed it, accessed via a spiral staircase. 

Also we need a minimum number of bookings for this class to go ahead, If we do not get enough bookings you will be offered a new date or a refund.
