Aleks Byrd - Meet & Greet, Book Signing (BOOK INCLUDED) and Trunk Show with Aleks Byrd - Saturday 22nd November 2pm - 4pm

Join us for a special meet & greet event with knitwear designer and author Aleks Byrd to celebrate her latest book Kindred Knits: Patterns from My Estonian Family Archives. Aleks will be joining us in store to sign books alongside the complete trunkshow from the book to inspire you. 

The price of your ticket includes a copy of Aleks book Kindred. You are welcome to collect this book in store or you can collect/have it delivered on release. Just choose the appropriate option below. Release date is the 17th October.

Kindred Knits is a captivating collection of knitwear designs inspired by the old sketchbooks of Aleks’ Estonian grandmother, Hilja, and some of her family’s heirloom crafts. The book features 15 patterns, ranging from socks and hats to sweaters and cardigans, worked in a variety of techniques — including lace, cables and colourwork, as well as Roosimine, a traditional Estonian inlay method. You’ll be able to see in person these beautiful patterns and get Aleks’ input on yarn suggestions for each pattern from our shop. Who doesn’t love the opportunity to shop with the designer herself!
