Knitting is not quite finished at the cast-off edge. A soak in wool wash, a gentle squeeze and a day pinned out to measurements lets the fibres relax and settle, opening lace from a crumpled tangle into crisp, even fabric. Interlocking foam mats build a pinning surface to fit any project, stainless T pins hold edges without rusting as the piece dries, and comb-style knit blockers pin a straight hem in a fraction of the time. A no-rinse wash completes the kit.
