HørSilke by Gepard consists of the finest French linen (70%) and wild tussah silk (30%) spun into fine thin threads, which are then twisted together to create a chain. This method of manufacture gives Gepard HørSilke a weightless fluff free volume which allows knit and crocheted garments to have an incredible drape. 

While knitting with HørSilke yarn, it may seem as if the stitches don't sit neatly. But as soon as you have washed your knit for the first time, all the stitches straighten out and your knit will become enchantingly beautiful.

As with other Gepard Yarn, HørSilke comes in classic and trend colours and therefore there is something for everyone.

Ball size/meterage: 50g/175m

Recommended Needles: 3-5mm

Recommended Gauge: 17-23st per 10cm

Spun in Italy.

Care Instructions: To achieve the luxurious smooth, sloppy linen look, knitwear in should be soaked in clean water at room temperature for about 24 hours the first time it is washed. If you have several colors or yarns together, it is a good idea to soak your knitting sample to see if you need to be a little extra careful. Press your knitwear dry in a towel (or give it a light spin) and let it air dry (linen should never be tumble dried, otherwise it will twist). All subsequent washes should just be completely normal. You can wash in the machine or by hand at 20-25 degrees for a maximum of 5 minutes, use a laundry bag. Avoid spinning, as this can cause wrinkles in the linen.
