HØST

HØST is one of those yarns that is genuinely unlike anything else we stock at Knit With Me. Soft, light and full-bodied all at once, it is made entirely from natural materials and, wherever possible, organic fibres.

What makes HØST so special is how it is constructed. It starts with a tube of organic cotton, dyed using a special spraying technique that creates a beautiful melange effect and a unique play of colour. A blend of recycled wool and organic cashmere is then blown into the tube, and it is that cashmere that really lifts this into luxury territory. The result is a yarn that feels wonderful to work with and produces a fabric with real warmth and character.

All 15 colourways are inspired by the colours of autumn, which is exactly what HØST means in Danish. It works beautifully for everything from smaller makes like mittens, scarves and hats, right through to sweaters and cardigans.

Care Instructions: Hand wash with a wool detergent and lay flat to dry. The finished work may shrink up to 7% when washed but will stretch again with wear.
