Cardiff Cashmere Classic is a 100% pure cashmere hand-knitting yarn which feels like clouds of luxury! Classic is a sport-weight yarn that can be worked as a light DK weight, so it can be used for a wide selection of projects, ranging from simple accessories to more complicated sweaters and cardigans, and it gives great stitch definition. It also comes in a great range of colours from Neutrals to the latest pops!

The yarn is made from cashmere sourced from Hircus Goats, which is then sorted for quality (no fibres longer than 15.5 microns and no more than 38mm in length). This makes the yarn softer in the hand and more resistant to pilling, with greater durability once worked. The fibres are all processed at the mill in the renowned Biella textile district in Italy, using traditional and innovative techniques. 

Classic is a DK / sport-weight 100% cashmere yarn, with each 25g ball holding approximately 112m (122 yards) and knitting to 20 stitches x 27 rows over 10cm on 4mm needles.

Recommend Crochet hook: 3.5mm - 4.5mm hook (US E - 7)

Knitting Machine: Can be used if the yarn is wound onto a cone.

Care instructions: Best to hand-wash with a no-rinse detergent, then shape the fabric on a flat surface (e.g., a towel) and lay flat to dry.
