Loom
Loom | Alpaca Linen & Silk 4ply yarn
products.product.pickup_availability.unavailable
Overview
This Alpaca Linen yarn from Loom is soft, drapey and dreamy. Loom's Alpaca Linen has a beautiful balance between shine and halo and is perfect for summer. The linen fibre takes up the dye slightly differently, creating a delicate heathered effect, and will bloom and soften with age. Perfect for Summer knits like shawls, tees and light boxy sweaters. It can be worked up with a 4mm needle for a light, airy fabric. This yarn is hand-dyed in Somerset in the South West of England by the talented hands of Jess, who has a passion for moody, muted shades, be it a gentle speckle or a rich, saturated tone.
Every product is photographed to represent its true colour as closely as possible. However, as screen and device settings vary, the colour you receive may differ slightly from what you see online

About Loom
Loom is a hand-dyed yarn and fibre studio based in Somerset in the South West of England, owned by Jess. She has a passion for moody, muted shades, be it a gentle speckle or a rich, saturated tone.
Jess learnt to knit after graduating from uni in 2007. After 4 years in finance, she left to pursue freelance opportunities in publishing, designing, writing, producing photography and videography projects for craft magazines.
Alongside this work, Jess began sewing a handmade wardrobe and, in 2017, learned to dye yarn to supplement her outfits. With some newfound inspiration, she started Loom a few years later, in 2019.
