Fibreknit is formed from knitting the fibre into a chainette, resulting in a distinctive structured yarn with an airy yet durable structure, allowing for a lighter, loftier knitted fabric. Made with a combination of Blueface Leicester and Masham British breeds
Sheepsoft Fibreknit is soft, with a smooth handle and creates a cosy and warm fabric that is beautifully textured with wonderful stitch definition.

Laxtons mill in Baildon, West Yorkshire, has crafted natural fibre yarns for four generations, and it's still where they spin today.
In 2020 they launched our first handknit collection, By Laxtons, to put their yarn straight into makers' hands.
Today they are evolving the brand into bramble & fleece. Every one of our natural fibres is sourced with care and spun at their Yorkshire mill.
