Bramble & Fleece Sheepsoft DK is a wholly British yarn spun from a premium blend of luxuriously soft Bluefaced Leicester and strong, durable Masham sheep breeds. Sourced from the finest flocks in Britain and spun, dyed and finished by Laxtons in Yorkshire, from fleece to finished yarn in less than 50 miles. This yarn has a beautiful drape and soft handle. It is a hardworking yarn with a low carbon footprint.
This blend also comes in an Aran weight.

Tension / Gauge - 22sts x 30 rows to 10cm/4in
Hand wash and dry flat after reshaping. Do no bleach or put in a tumble dryer.

Laxtons mill in Baildon, West Yorkshire, has crafted natural fibre yarns for four generations, and it's still where they spin today.
In 2020 they launched our first handknit collection, By Laxtons, to put their yarn straight into makers' hands.
Today they are evolving the brand into bramble & fleece. Every one of our natural fibres is sourced with care and spun at their Yorkshire mill.
