HØST

HØST is a super soft, light and airy and full-bodied yarn, made of only natural materials, and as far as possible, of organic fibres. Host yarn is made of 75% organic cotton, 16% recycled wool and 9% organic cashmere.  

Host is made of a tube of organic cotton and is a blow yarn. The organic tube is dyed with a special spraying technique, which gives the yarn a beautiful melange and a unique play of colours. A blend of recycled wool and organic cashmere, is blown into the tube and the inclusion of cashmere turns this into a definite luxury yarn.

HØST is available in 15 beautiful colours, and all of the colours are reminiscent to the beautiful colours of fall. The recommended gauge is 17-18 stitches and 28 rows on a 4 mm needle. Remember, the gauge is for guidance only, and it is always recommended to knit a swatch.  The length of HØST is 120 meters per one skein of 50 grams. 

HØST is produced by an Italian spinning mill with consideration for both environment and animal welfare, thus the cotton and cashmere used is organic, and the wool is recycled.

HOST is suitable for everything from small projects as mittens, scarfs, hats and vests, to bigger projects as sweaters and cardigans, and is a joy to work with.

It is recommended to HAND WASH the finished work with a wool detergent and lay it flat to dry.

When washing, the finished work can shrink up to 7%, but will stretch again in use.
