Sami by Amano is made from 100% organic Pima cotton. Sami cotton yarn is incredibly versatile, exceptionally soft and luxurious, yet wonderfully easy to care for. Sami by Amano has a beautiful drape and feels like no other cotton we have tried. The DK weight of Sami pima cotton also allows you to use it for patterns requiring a heavier weight of natural fibre without having to hold anything double. The cotton was harvested, spun, and dyed in Peru aSami means "friendliness" in Quechua (the language of the Inca)
