Introduction to Knitting for Beginners

I’m super excited that you are interested in learning to knit!

This workshop is perfect for people with absolutely no prior experience, those who haven’t knitted for a long time, or those who have lost their confidence and want a fun and relaxed place to learn. During the two session workshop, we learn all the basics of cast-on, knit, purl, and cast-off and create buttonholes while making a cowl.

You do not need to bring anything as all materials and tools will be provided.

The materials below are included in the price of the workshop

● Workshop videos and cowl knitting pattern
● Circular knitting needles and yarn for practising techniques in the sessions
● Set of high quality Lykke driftwood circular needles and a ball of hand dyed 100% extrafine merino Manos del Uruguay Maxima yarn worth over £30 if purchased separately.
● Darning needles, scissors and tape-measure for use during sessions.

The workshop takes place upstairs in the store, accessed via a spiral staircase.

We need a minimum of 2 bookings for this course to go ahead. If we do not meet the minimum 4 days before the workshop you will be offered a new date or a refund.

Due to the small number of spaces, please let us know as soon as possible if you can no longer attend as a refund can only be offered if we can fill your space
