52 Weeks of One Skein Knits features 52 patterns by 50 designers from around the world. From hats, socks and shawls to cowls, collars, hoods, headbands, mitts and mittens, there’s something for every knitter, whether you’re just getting started or have years of knitting behind you.

Each project uses a maximum of 100 grams of yarn. As yarns come in a wide variety of skein and ball sizes, we decided to use this amount as our baseline. Therefore, some patterns might require up to two skeins or balls, if the yarn comes in units that are much less than 100 grams.
