Product Details 

LØVETAND is a beautiful chainette yarn made from 100% organic linen, and it is one of those yarns that just makes you want to cast on something for summer straight away.

The name means dandelion in Danish, and the colour palette reflects that perfectly: dusty, classic, finely harmonised hues that are easy to combine within a project. The yarn itself is constructed from a thin thread of linen knitted into a fine tube, which gives it a softer hand than you might expect from linen. It works beautifully for tops, tees, dresses and skirts, and if you crochet, it is wonderful for beach bags, purses and accessories where a firm structure is a bonus.

Linen is naturally cooling on warm days and gets softer with every wash and wear, so if it feels a little crisp straight off the needle do not worry as it will relax beautifully over time. The flax fibre comes from Belgium and the yarn is spun in Italy, made exclusively for CaMaRose.

Care Instructions: Hand wash gently or use a delicate wool cycle at 30°C with a detergent suitable for linen. Do not use regular detergents as they contain bleaches and solvents that will damage the fibres. Always test your machine's wool cycle on a swatch first as machines vary.
