Overview
Bramble and Fleece Origin 001 sock yarn is made from 100% Bluefaced Leicester (Machine Washable - Undyed), ideal for socks and shawls. The construction and twist of the yarn ensures good durability, meaning there is no need for nylon, yet still remaining soft when worn next to the skin.
Please note: This yarn has been superwash treated and is machine washable at 30°C in its undyed state. As the Origin range is intended to be suitable for use as is or for hand dyeing at home, we recommend hand washing only once the yarn has been dyed, as colours applied at home may not be fully colourfast.

About Bramble & Fleece
Every skein tells a story, and ours begins where exceptional sheep roam free. The Sheepsoft range unites the finest British Bluefaced Leicester and Masham breeds into something luxuriously, unmistakably alive.
The Wooltrace range takes provenance further still, spinning British Bluefaced Leicester and Romney fibres into 4ply and DK weight yarns, all traceable back to the very farm they came from.
Laxtons mill in Baildon, West Yorkshire, has crafted natural fibre yarns for four generations, and it's still where they spin today.
In 2020 they launched their first handknit collection, By Laxtons, to put their yarn straight into makers' hands. Today we are evolving the brand into Bramble & Fleece. Every one of our natural fibres is sourced with care and spun at their Yorkshire mill.
