HørSilke by Gepard combines French linen (70%) and wild tussah silk (30%) into fine, delicate threads, creating a weightless, luxurious drape that feels indulgent to the touch.
While knitting with HørSilke yarn, it may seem as if the stitches don't sit neatly. But as soon as you have washed your knit for the first time, all the stitches straighten out, and your knit will become enchantingly beautiful.
As with other Gepard yarns, HørSilke comes in classic and trend colours, so there is something for everyone.
HørSilke is a sport-weight knitting yarn, 70% French linen, 30% tussah silk, with each 50g ball holding approximately 175m (191 yards) and knitting to 17-23 stitches over 10cm on 3-5mm needles.

Care Instructions: To achieve the luxurious, smooth, sloppy linen look, knitwear should be soaked in clean water at room temperature for about 24 hours on its first wash. If you have several colours or yarns together, it is a good idea to soak your knitting sample to see if you need to be a little extra careful. Press your knitwear dry on a towel (or give it a light spin) and let it air-dry (linen should never be tumble-dried, otherwise it will twist). All subsequent washes should just be completely normal. You can wash in the machine or by hand at 20-25 degrees for up to 5 minutes, using a laundry bag. Avoid spinning, as this can cause wrinkles in the linen.
