Embellishment is about modifying a garment to make it uniquely ours, but it also refers to how our memories of people, places and traditions inform our knitting. For me, embellishment is not simply an add-on but rather the outcome of the growing together of memory and imagination into something beautiful. My goal was to create exceptional pieces, each sweater beautiful even without embellishments but adorned in ways that evoke dreams and memories — special moments filled with joy, gratitude and passion."
