The Wooltrace range takes provenance further still, spinning British Bluefaced Leicester and Romney fibres into 4ply and DK weight yarns, all traceable back to the very farm they came from.
Laxtons mill in Baildon, West Yorkshire, has crafted natural fibre yarns for four generations, and it's still where they spin today.
In 2020 they launched their first handknit collection, By Laxtons, to put their yarn straight into makers' hands. Today we are evolving the brand into Bramble & Fleece. Every one of our natural fibres is sourced with care and spun at their Yorkshire mill.
