SoulMade Tweed I | Gepard Merino

SoulMade Tweed I is a soft and durable single-ply tweed yarn, spun from 100% mulesing-free merino wool and milled at a family-run wool mill in Italy. Use SoulMade Tweed I to create lightweight garments that feel cashmere-soft, with beautiful volume and a unique expression. Pair it with Silk Mohar or Cashmere Lace to accentuate or soften the colours to your preference. 

SoulMade Tweed I is remarkably adaptable. The fibres bloom beautifully when blocked, allowing you to work across a wide range of needle sizes. Use smaller needles for a dense, structured fabric, or larger needles for something light, open and airy. We recommend making and washing a swatch before starting your project to find the ideal texture and gauge.

Sizing up your needles creates a lighter, softer and more fluid fabric while using less yarn, making it possible to create luxurious garments while keeping the overall yarn cost down.

We set out to create the tweed yarn we couldn’t find elsewhere: a single-strand yarn that doesn’t twist, exceptional comfort, and a harmonious balance between tweed flecks and base colour.
