Overview
Aches and pains while knitting/crocheting. Feeling sore after all your crafting-time? Having difficulty holding your yarn and needles pain-free but not sure what to do? Then this is for you. Come join us for a workshop all about crafting and ergonomics with the delightful Andrea Lui, PT, DPT. Andrea is an orthopedic physical therapist and an avid knitter/crocheter/spinner.
This class will begin with an overview on correct and optimal ergonomics for crafting, and common posture pitfalls to avoid before reviewing simple stretches and exercises to keep your muscles and joints healthy and happy. This class will cover the upper body, and you will leave with new tools to keep your body healthy and happy as you craft.
So why not join us on Zoom at 6pm on Sunday 9th August and bring a WIP to work on (and a small pillow if possible), so that you can try out new postures and body adjustments in real time with Andrea.
If you have purchased a copy of Andrea's book Craft Without Pain you will receive a free ticket for this event which will be emailed out to you a week before.
The zoom link will be sent out one week before the session date
