This incredibly soft and warm double-layer scarf and gorgeous long mittens by the talented PetiteKnit are now available as a kit with the luxury yarn Cardiff Cashmere Classic, the designer's preferred yarn. We think this is a perfect combination.

The Vienna Set consists of long mittens worked in stockinette stitch and a scarf worked in stockinette stitch in the round. Both the mittens and the scarf have rolling edges. The mittens are worked from the wrist to the fingers, and are worked on double-pointed needles or on a long circular needle using the Magic Loop technique. The scarf is worked in the round on a circular needle, so the right side of the stockinette stitch is facing out on both sides (it is constructed as a hollow tube).

Measurements:
Mittens: 15 x 33 (17 x 33) cm [6 x 13 (6¾ x 13) inches] measured flat without the thumb
Scarf: 18 x 170 cm [7 x 67 inches] measured flat

Gauge: 25 sts x 35 rows = 10 x 10 cm [4 x 4 inches] in stockinette stitch on 3.5 mm [US4] needles, or the required needle size to obtain gauge

Kit includes:

- 9 balls of Cardiff Cashmere Classic in your chosen colour way

- a PDF copy of the Field Mitten pattern sent to your email address. Suggested Needles:

Mittens: 3.5 mm [US4] double-pointed needles or a 3.5 mm [US4] / 80 cm [32 inches] circular needle if using the Magic Loop technique.
Scarf: 3.5 mm [US4] / 40 cm [16 inches] circular needles
