SeeKnit is a brand of high-quality Japanese bamboo knitting needles, crochet hooks and accessories manufactured by Kinki Amibari, Japan’s oldest and longest-running bamboo knitting needle producer. Kinki Amibari was founded in 1916 near Osaka and Kyoto (in the Nara area), and celebrated its 100th anniversary in 2016 by launching the global Seeknit brand. The name combines "seek" and "knit" to invite makers to explore the craft.They use natural, fast-growing Japanese Moso bamboo, which is naturally resilient and reinforced with strong fibrovascular fibers
